A few things to remember
Flight availability and prices can change quickly. The price shown during your search is not guaranteed until the booking is completed with the travel partner.
Sustainable Day helps you discover and compare travel options. We don't operate the flights or provide the transportation itself.
1. Searching for flights
Find flights by entering your departure, destination, dates, and passenger details.
Start your search
On Fly Sustainable Day, enter:
Departure ā where you're travelling from
Arrival ā your destination
Depart ā your departure date
Return ā your return date, if you're travelling round trip
Passengers ā the number of travellers
Cabin class ā such as Economy
Then select Search flights.
Want to visit more than one destination?
Use Create multi-city route when your trip includes several flights with different destinations.
For example:
Stockholm ā Paris ā Rome ā Stockholm
This can be useful when you're planning a longer trip instead of simply flying there and back.
Before you book
Compare the available options carefully. A cheaper flight may have different baggage rules, airport locations, connection times, or cancellation conditions.
2. Understanding flight prices
Learn why two flights that look similar can have very different prices.
Flight prices aren't fixed. Airlines and travel providers can change fares depending on demand, availability, timing, route, and other factors.
The price you see may depend on things such as:
Travel dates
Departure airport
Destination
Number of available seats
Cabin class
Baggage
Connection times
Airline and fare type
Demand for the route
What does "Price from" mean?
When you see Price from ā¬X, this means the displayed amount represents a starting price found for that destination or route.
It doesn't necessarily mean that every available flight costs that amount.
Always check the final flight details and price before completing your booking.
3. Booking through our travel partners
Understand what happens when you choose a flight and continue to booking.
Sustainable Day helps you search for and discover flight options. When you choose an option, you may be redirected to a travel partner to complete the booking.
What happens next?
The travel partner handles the booking process, including:
Passenger information
Payment
Ticket issuance
Booking confirmation
Changes and cancellations
Refunds
Customer support relating to the booking
Your flight contract is with the relevant travel provider, not Sustainable Day.
Important
Before paying, check the final price, baggage allowance, fare conditions, cancellation rules, and other booking terms.
Prices and availability may change between the initial search and the final booking.
4. Why flight prices change
Flight prices can move quickly ā here's why.
Ever searched for a flight, gone back five minutes later, and thought, "Wait... what happened to that price?" š
That's normal.
Airfare is dynamic. Airlines and travel providers can adjust prices as availability and demand change.
Prices may change because:
A cheaper fare class has sold out
Demand for the flight has increased
The airline has changed its pricing
Availability has changed
Your search dates or passenger numbers changed
The travel provider refreshed its available offers
Is Sustainable Day changing the price?
No. Sustainable Day displays available travel offers provided through its travel partners.
The final price is determined by the relevant airline or travel provider at the time of booking.
Tip: If you find a flight that works well for you at a good price, don't assume that exact fare will still be available later.
5. Searching multi-city routes
Plan trips that include more than one destination.
A multi-city search is useful when your journey isn't simply:
Home ā Destination ā Home
Instead, you might want:
Stockholm ā Paris ā Rome ā Stockholm
How to search
Select Create multi-city route, then add the different legs of your journey.
For each leg, choose:
Departure airport
Arrival airport
Travel date
You can then search for available combinations.
Why use a multi-city route?
It can be useful for:
Longer holidays
City-hopping
Business trips
Visiting several countries
Open-jaw journeys
Avoiding unnecessary backtracking
Sometimes flying into one city and returning from another can make much more sense than returning to your original airport.
6. Finding hotels
Find accommodation alongside your flight search.
Fly Sustainable Day can also help you discover hotel options for your trip.
When the Show hotels option is available, you can include accommodation in your travel search.
Why search flights and hotels together?
It can make planning easier by keeping your trip research in one place.
You can compare your travel dates with available accommodation and explore options for your destination.
Before booking a hotel
Check:
Total price
Location
Room type
Cancellation conditions
Taxes and fees
Included amenities
Check-in and check-out conditions
As with flights, the final booking is handled by the relevant travel partner.
